ORIGINAL FACTORYS TEAM RALLYCAR, FIAT 131 RALLY G.4 OWNER EBRU TASANYUREK, TURKEY
FIAT.131.AR-2045941 Car should be year -80 model, and origally in use of Jolly Club at year 1980-1981. I would say, its older because of headlights, but history isnt very well documented. My quess is that it came to Jolly club -80 and was at Abarth before that. At 1981 car was sold to Frankfurt, Germany. Its registration plates were F.KA 119 at the time, so if somebody knows something, let us know. When car came to Istambul, Turkey it was white and had late type front grille, with larger head lamps. Body has wider, tarmac use flares, so propably its the lightest version Abarth made, but this is just my guess. Wheels are beautifull, I havent seen this kind ever before. Do anyone know manufacturer?
As you see in top pic, it has latest type of front suspension upper strut. Abarth lifted it more up, so they got more wheel movement. Engine has Kugelfischer injection and dry sump. I believe this must be atleast second generation engine, that produces 230hp at minimum.
Thanks for Ebru for joining these pics and info for all of us!! Im waiting for more pics and info, so check this again later. Im also getting info of two other original Abarths, and they will be added to their own pages later.
